People’s Choice Award – Best Photograph of a Horse
Your horse is your best friend and wow does he know it! Now show the whole world what a great partner in crime he is. You have those pictures of him frollicking in the field with his horse pals, your child's first meeting with him...when they looked into each other eyes, with amazement. You caught him snatching a hat off an unsuspecting passerby, and then, there is his award winning Halloween costume, that made your friends howl with laughter. So what are you waiting for? Send in those amazing photos and you could win a beautiful painting of your best friend.
Pick a featured equine artist from our featured artist page, enter your photos through our online system, then vote for your favorite photo by June 30, 2010 deadline extended to September 1, 2010!
Each of our talented, featured equine artists is ready and waiting to create an original painting from a photograph of your horse. Your original painting will be in oil or acrylic, (depending on the preference of the artist you select) on a canvas no smaller than 16" x 20". You just have to get the most votes in the category, in which you submit your photo, in order to win the Grand Prize. Don't worry, if you don't win the Grand Prize (painting), we have three other prizes in each category!
Entry Categories (5): Best Horse in Nature Photo, Best Child and Pony Photo, Best Horse and Rider Photo, Most Playful/Funniest Horse Photo, and Funniest Horse in Costume Photo.
The Grand Prize Winner (the photo with the most votes) in each category will win the following:
1. An original painting by your selected Paint My Horse artist!
2. Free t-shirt featuring your photo and the final work of art that says, “I Got My Horse Painted at PaintMyHorseStudios.com!” Grand Prize Winner.
3. Feature story in our magazine about your horse, your favorite Paint My Horse Studios equine artist, and the creation of the painting
4. One year eSubscription to Paint My Horse Studios Magazine!
The next top three finalists (photos with the next most votes respectively) in each category will win the following:
